QuasiEurope In 1974, mathematical physicist Roger Penrose introduced new ways of filling surfaces by juxtaposing simple geometrical pieces. Some years later, these lattices were discovered in Nature, as a result of natural processes of solid formation. These structures didn't fullfil the intuitive geometrical conditions to be designated as crystals, but because of the similarity of their properties, scientists called them quasicrystals. The complex process of european construction refers us to something similar, a sort of quasi-Europe, an entity whose profile we all know by intuition even though their properties, formalized by a group of self-proclaimed experts, rest unknown to the great majority. The Game Find, click and colour the stars before they are absorbed by the process of conformation of this QuasiEurope. The expression of the diversity of the people who inhabit and wish to inhabit Europe, further than this election time, is indispensable. |
